How does Urinary Harmony compare to Killer Cranberry?Updated 25 days ago
Harmony is quite similar to another Eu Natural product – Killer Cranberry. The difference is in the key ingredients.
Cranberry and D-mannose prevent E. coli bacteria from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract through different mechanisms.
Cranberry (found in Killer Cranberry) contains compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs) that interfere with the ability of bacteria, particularly E. coli, to attach to the walls of the urinary tract. The PACs in cranberry are thought to work by altering the surface properties of the bacteria, making it difficult for them to adhere to the urinary tract walls. In addition, cranberry also contains other compounds that have antimicrobial properties, which may help to kill bacteria and prevent infection.
D-mannose (found in Urinary Harmony), on the other hand, is a type of sugar that is structurally similar to glucose. When consumed, D-mannose is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and then excreted through the kidneys and into the urinary tract. As it passes through the urinary tract, D-mannose binds to E. coli bacteria, preventing them from attaching to the walls of the urinary tract. This allows the bacteria to be flushed out of the body through urine, reducing the risk of infection.
Finally, Hibiscus (also found in Urinary Harmony) has anti-microbial properties that inhibit the growth of E.Coli and fights inflammation that contributes to symptoms such as pain and discomfort.
