Is Menopause Balance safe if I have a history of breast cancer or hormone-sensitive conditions?Updated 25 days ago
Because Menopause Balance is hormone-free, it does not supply estrogen, progesterone, or other hormones. Instead, it uses herbs and nutrients like Shatavari, Ashwagandha, Holy Basil, and L-Theanine to gently support stress balance, sleep, mood, and overall wellness during menopause.
That said, some herbs - particularly Shatavari - are considered phytoestrogenic, meaning they may mimic weak estrogen-like effects in the body. While phytoestrogens are generally thought to be much gentler than hormone replacement therapy, their use in women with a history of breast cancer or other hormone-sensitive conditions is still a matter of medical caution.
For that reason, we do not recommend starting Menopause Balance for women with a history of breast cancer without first talking to your oncologist or healthcare provider. They can give you the best guidance for your specific health history and treatment plan.
